Recently, A-G Sod Farms – Palmdale took part in a lawn rejuvenation project at the corporate offices of Universal Studios Hollywood. Used for special events throughout the year, the lawn was in need of new turfgrass to replace areas of wear and tear. Our Palmdale farm had high-quality Fine Fescue ideal for this area.
Known as The Green, this outdoor space is used by employees throughout the day, and in the evenings transforms into a space for parties, movie screenings and a variety of other corporate events with a seating capacity of 450. It’s no wonder that with so much traffic, the lawn was ready for a facelift, and our Palmdale farm was ready to answer the call.
Fine Fescue was used for the 13,000 sq. ft. installation. This natural grass variety is known for its fine texture, shade tolerance and low maintenance requirements. For a project of this size, A-G’s Big Roll offers the ideal cut. It allows for fewer seams, and the area is ready for use within a couple of days if needed.
Installed in just one day, the space received an instant upgrade with a beautiful lush new lawn. Ready for cocktail parties and networking events, this fescue lawn offers a vibrant and durable surface.
